It's almost 4:30 and I can't sleep. I'm tired but too much is on my mind. I have a lot of catching up to do before I head out on my trip to drive Amanda to her new school in Ohio with Catherine. I'm looking forward to being on the road again especially since I'm driving a van up there.

We had a pretty good trip and Amanda was settled in her dorm quite quickly. After a sad Mom and Daughter good-bye hug we were on our way back home.
I did get lots of chances to nap and explore the town and I got a new cable for my GPS that works a lot better than the old one. My new laptop didn't have a serial port so I needed a USB adapter. When I got home I was pleasantly surprised that the cable worked so well with the Uniden software for my scanners. I might bring one next trip so I can use more channels and load more common frequencies.
