Studio Update
I’m installing a background support for the new mini-studio. The drywall was too soft and I didn’t want to drill into the concrete so I had to go with good old 2x4’s. The wood was so soft and smelled like memories of my father’s woodshop. Some wood is a lot like chicken in texture and appearance and I am often tempted to taste a little but it’s a bit hard to chew. Anyway I used nuts and bolts and the saw I use for my framing mitres and had a lot of fun getting sawdust all over the place. I used bolts to push the top of the structure tight to the ceiling to hold it all up and now I can attach the background screens. My deadline is Monday for the studio to be tested and ready for booking customers.
