Busy Summer
It's been as busy summer as you can see by my lack of posts. I'll be shooting a lot less gymnastics this season since there were contract issues between McNish's Action Photography and Gymnastics Ontario. I saw the new contract and it's impossible to fulfill. The nice thing is that nobody in their right mind would sign a contract like that so they'll be begging us to come back when they realize, no more pictures and folks start to complain.
I got myself a place to live in July and August with a really sweet couple in Fort Erie, Ontario.
My friends Nick and Shelley and the kids were great to live with but Fort Erie was in the middle of nowhere as far as not having a car is concerned. Living near the beach was fantastic too and my little local was called CBGB's and I had a few good times there.
Anyway I'm now living in a nice little apartment in Hamilton which is quite the central hub for getting to Niagara, Toronto or London where I do most of my business.
Watercolour illustrations seem to be my main business here since I sold one lately and there is so much to paint here. There is a great Artist community here and I'm getting to know a lot of people around here. Also my friend from London, Luke Mattar moved here six months ago and is opening a studio that I can shoot in from time to time and that should be where I do most of my photography once the weather is too bad.
Anyway that should catch you up a bit.
