Sketchup Free, for 500 minutes

I downloaded the free version of Google's Sketchup but it gives me a limited amount of designing time. The program itself does not say pro but even if you download the free trial version it still installs pro! I did not want to start enjoying this fabulous program only to end up having to Pay $495 to continue designing.

I think this is quite deceiving on Google's part because it does not say anywhere that downloaded version eventually turns into the free one with less features. I tried it for 5 minutes and decided to purchase the non pro version but all it offers is Sketchup 6 pro. Google could explain that the free version is indeed free. I guess I'll find out how 'limited' the program is when my trial time is up. I would rather have had the limited version in the first place. They give you a choice in the download section but it's not a real choice! This is a Lie and Google should be held accountable. It is false advertising to get you addicted to the pro version.

So far it's thumbs up for the program and thumbs down for False Marketing.

Shame on you Google!
